The 25 Dimensions of Sharing Qigong
Teaching Qigong is not teaching a set of exercises.
It is teaching a way to be in relationship with your own life force, with your body, and with the world around you. Which means the skill of teaching it is wider than knowing the movements, and most of what makes someone good at this is not on the syllabus anywhere.

These are 25 dimensions of that work. They are not ranked and they are not a ladder. They are all equally load-bearing, and they weave together into what it actually takes to hold a room.
The five groups
Inner Foundation, dimensions 1 to 5. The ground you teach from. Your own practice, embodied understanding, honest self-assessment, trust in the practice, and willingness to keep changing.
Structure and Flow, dimensions 6 to 10. How you organize and move energy through a class. The five-element container, pacing, transitions, sequencing, and time.
Guidance and Language, dimensions 11 to 15. How you speak. Cuing, permission language, presence over ego, invitation versus command, and holding space for emotion.
Embodiment and Integration, dimensions 16 to 20. How students actually land the practice. The body as primary teacher, nervous system safety, silence and rest, repetition, and knowing when to deepen instead of progress.
Sharing as Service, dimensions 21 to 25. Why and how you teach. Transmission over transaction, teaching as practice, the student mirror, building community, and letting go of outcome.
Why 25 and not 5
Because the short lists leave out the parts that are hard to name.
Most teacher training covers sequencing and cuing, and then stops. It does not cover what to do when a student starts crying in the third practice. It does not cover the difference between speaking from what you have lived and speaking from what you read last week. It does not cover the fact that your students are mirrors and what irritates you about them is information about you.
Those things decide whether a room comes back next week. They belong on the list.
How this fits with the rest
The Seven Foundations of Practice tell you what kind of practice each movement is. The Five Elemental Class Design Framework tells you where it goes in the arc. Those two get you a well-built class.
The 25 Dimensions are about everything that happens once there are people in the room. You can build a structurally perfect class and still lose it in the first 5 minutes.
All of this is taught in the Great Energy Qigong Teacher Certification. If you are earlier in the question, how to become a Qigong instructor covers the practical route, and is online Qigong certification legit takes the sceptical version of the question seriously.
Teachers working with students who have chronic conditions will find the companion body of work at the Autoimmune Recovery Method, Daniela's root-cause method.
Frequently asked questions
What are the 25 Dimensions of Sharing Qigong?
A framework covering what it takes to teach Qigong, in five groups of five: inner foundation, structure and flow, guidance and language, embodiment and integration, and sharing as service.
Are the 25 dimensions ranked in order of importance?
No. They are not a ladder and none is optional. They weave together rather than stacking.
What does most Qigong teacher training leave out?
The parts that are hard to name. What to do when a student cries, the difference between speaking from what you have lived and what you read, and the fact that what irritates you about a student is information about you.
