What midlife reveals
Here is what quietly reveals itself in the Midlife years, and what almost no one is connectingโฆ.
1 in 4 women in Midlife is handed an anti-anxiety or antidepressant prescription without anyone ever checking a proper thyroid panel, her testosterone, or her ferritin.
And the highest rates of โgray divorceโ, and of suicide, among women happen in exactly this season of life.
So much of that suffering is physiology that no one ever looked at closely!!!!
If you are a woman in Midlife, between 35 and 60, and you have ever had the thought, 'Wow, I just don't feel like myself anymore,' please keep reading.
The fatigue that sleep does not touch. The fog. The slow, quiet sense of becoming a stranger to yourself. Most women are told they are fine, while they know in their body that something is genuinely โoff.โ
What you are feeling is real, it is not in your head, and there is SOOOO much you can do about it!!!!
A few days ago I sat down with the BeYogi Community and offered a Live, 1 hour talk what is ACTUALLY happening in the Midlife body - from the cell, to the Soul, to the Spirit.
The replay is below!
And if you are a helper or a healer, a yoga teacher, a counselor, a coach, ANYONE who walks beside women in Midlife, this is for you too!!!
The next time a woman lingers after class or says in a session 'I just don't feel like myself anymore,' or 'I am so tired, and no matter how much I sleep it is never enough,' you will understand the physiology underneath those words, and you will know exactly how to point her in the right direction.
This is what moves me most. What took me many years to even understand, and years more to truly work toward resolving, you may be able to spare yourself. That is my deepest hope in sharing this, that you, or the women you serve, might be spared YEARS of unnecessary suffering.
In this talk I walk through the fundamentals every woman, and every guide, deserves to understand. The inflammation, the hormones, the labs that get called 'normal' when they are anything but, and the few questions that change everything.
I also made you a PDF that gathers the main points in one place, so you have something to keep close and return to.

The replay and the PDF are yours, free.
And if this opens something up for you, there is more. On Sunday, July 5, Kimberly Wilcox Beekman and I are teaching a live 3 hour workshop where we unpack everything in this 1 hour talk in real depth, with ample time for your questions, AND we weave in the Ayurvedic principles of the Midlife journey.
It is $47, and you keep the replay and the full transcript.
๐ Come hang out with us on July 5
PLEASE watch the Free replay above and send it to one woman, or one guide, who โneedsโ it. This is the conversation that can hand a woman years of her life back.
Much Love to you all,

It is our birthright to feel great energy. It absolutely is. And there are a lot of booby traps and barriers that have to do with modern living, quality of food. And we can plug those leaks, we can reclaim. When would you say your average energy, your quality energy, over the last few months has been poor, mediocre, fair, good, or maybe great already? It is our right to feel great energy. Because when we've blocked the leaks where we leak our energy, and we've repaired, then we can cultivate and circulate energy. One of the mistakes people make is trying to too quickly go to cultivating and circulating energy, but first we have to understand where we're leaking it, and on what layer of our being it is leaking.
And when our energy is stabilized and strong and consistent and great, friends, we are unstoppable in our ability to bring to the world our unique talents and gifts. Every single one of you came into this life already equipped, wired by this brilliant design, divine creative intelligence. We are wired and primed and ready to give what we're here to give, offer, and enjoy, and it's unique for all of us. And what can stand in the way of feeling the fulfillment of our lives is the quality of our energy. So we take care of that first and foremost, then we bring it out into the world. It begins with the individual getting our energy regulated, attending to all the layers of our being: physical, mental, emotional, connecting to our awareness layer, that inherent stream of wisdom that's always communicating with us in the space between our thoughts. Tapping into the bliss layer, so you know what you are beyond your personality and identity. Each one of us is that pure awareness of being, permanent and unchanging. That's our real identity. So we're here to remember, what am I that doesn't change, and then we play the character in our lives with a bit of a nod and a wink, because we know what we really are. And we help others remember what they are through direct experience, because we can't think our way to our real identity. We can have the aspiration: please show me, give me a direct experience. That's why we practice.
If you want to take a picture of a particular bird, you go sit and you wait for a direct experience. Well, our practices are the same. If you're a photographer and you know that loon comes through at 5:30, you go down to the river's edge, take your lens cap off, put on your hat and fingerless gloves, and wait. And if nothing happens, you still got to sit by the water's edge, it was peaceful, and you come back the next day. We go to our practice with an open hand, without an expectation that the loon's going to come. We don't get to say. One of my teachers always used the analogy of the bird: coming to our practices is the left wing, our steady self-effort. The other wing she called Grace, that would enter us where it already lives, and take care of the rest. So we keep showing up, and we use the mental body skillfully to declare, this is what I want. I want direct experience of my true essential nature. What am I beyond all of my roles, what am I that doesn't change? So know what you want from your practices, hold that aspiration up high, and stay present to it. You're not going to make it happen, but you keep declaring it, and then you show up. So be bold and wild with it. Be audacious with what you want, but know what you want.
